TRANG AN GROTTOES - BAI DINH PAGODA FULL DAY TRIP

Located 120 km to the south of Hanoi, the 2000-hectare Trang An eco-tourism complex is divided into 5 sections: Hoa Lu ancient citadel area which is preserved specially, a central area, a natural area of grottoes and caves, a tourist service area, and a holy mountain of Bai Dinh area. The total 47 historical vestiges, hidden caves and grottoes in limestone karst geomorphology, valleys, rivers and streams all together create a fanciful landscape. With hundreds of big and small statutes, numerous categories of architectural works, Bai Dinh Pagoda is the largest pagoda in Southeast Asia and has attracted hundred thousands of Vietnamese and foreigner visitors every year.

Trang An grottos are formed of 31 valleys, 50 cross-water caves and this is a home of 600 kinds of flora and over 200 kinds of fauna, many of them are listed in the Red Book of Vietnam.

07.40 – 08.30: The bus and driver pick you up at your hotel in the Old Quarter then depart to Ninh Binh in 2.5 hrs.

09.30: Have short break en-route to free your legs.

11.00: Arrive at Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest Buddha Sanctuary place in Vietnam with 500 Arhan statues. You will be amazed by the biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters in height and 100 tons in weight. Our tour guide gives you an introduction of religions and beliefs in Vietnam.

12.30 Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant with some special dishes such as goat meat, pork storage vessel, etc. (vegetarian is available upon request).

13.30: After lunch, we leave for Trang An eco-tourism attraction. You will be amazed by neglected area while having a boat trip through cave chains: Sang cave, Toi cave, Ba Giot cave, Sinh cave…experiencing mysterious views of the so-called “Ha Long Bay in land”


18:30 Come back in Hanoi get dropped off at your morning address. Tour ends.
